In early 2010, Kyle & Cody Lane will be making their way through 60+ countries on a year-long journey through Central America, South America, Africa, the Middle East, and Europe. Their goal: to promote cultural understanding through travel.

LaneWorld is a project meant to promote cultural understanding through travel. Born from a passion for the road, we feel that the best way to learn about the planet's many people and places and how they are interconnected is to get out there and see for yourself. In early 2010, the two of us will embark upon a year-long journey covering four continents, reporting what we see as we go.

What we hope to accomplish: To ignite a passion for travel in others. To build a better understanding of the world and of ourselves. To open eyes and minds to the realities of faraway parts of the world, while leaving a positive impression of America on those we meet. Our goal is to share what we experience and learn with others, back home and around the globe, in an effort to build a culture of understanding that transcends languages and borders.
