This is our second journey through Africa with this Daf. The first time, we had to go with the truck unfinished, because a lot of trouble delayed our departure for years. Unfinished means, the camperpart of it. The truck was ready all right. Given the bad road conditions, the lack of technical problems was really surprising. Anyway, we have been travelling (very slowly thus experiencing) nearly one year. After that, we tried to finish the truck finally for another tour of perhaps a year through Africa.

The site is in Dutch (google translate will help, missing the subtleties though), about the truck construction (thorough) and of course about the trip and the upcoming trip. One year isn't really sufficient as one time isn't either. So exactly 3 years after our first departure, we'll leave again.
Photo's are made in Pendjari (benin), market in Djenne (Mali), near Sikasso ( Mali) and Mare aux Hippopotames (Burkina Faso).
