Elias Vrohidis & Christina Pefani

Trip Start: Jul 18 2013 - Trip End: Dec 17 2014

2007 to 2009: 27 months and 73,000 km. in 14 Asian countries, solo on a light enduro motorbike (Honda XR 250).

2013 to... who knows!: Around Africa on two light enduro motorbikes (Honda XR 250).

Elias Vrohidis on 2007 set off solo by a small motorcycle on a journey from Greece to four countries, for ten months' time: Turkey, Iran, Pakistan and India. During the trip, however, there were many changes in his schedule and, finally, he ended up returning to Greece after two years and two and a half months, having covered 73,000 km. (45,361 miles), after travelling to fourteen Asian countries: Turkey, Iran, Pakistan, India, Nepal, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh! This was the journey known as "greece2india".

On 2013 he hit the road for an even longer journey! Africa and Middle East were calling him! This time, Christina Pefani, the she-mad nomad, is travelling with him. They are riding two light enduro motorbikes of the same type (Honda XR 250), travelling according to mad nomad's usual recipe: innumerous detours, in order to visit everything interesting, years on the road, to catch the scent of the local societies that they visit, always guided by the love for People and Nature. This is the expedition called "mad about Africa".
